I have been diving into what it means to be free. What is freedom exactly?
Google defines freedom as:
- the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint. “we do have some freedom of choice”
If I was completely free, I had no limitations at all, and I had the freedom to choose my perfect day, what would it look like? How would I spend my time? Who would I spend it with? What would I do? What would it smell like? Sound like? Feel like? Taste like?
What does your perfect day look like?
Can you describe it in detail?
You probably haven’t thought about it in a while, if at all.
We let society and the things around us dictate what our days looks like, and therefore our lives. In order for us to remember who we are and what we want, we have to let go of who they told us to be and what we think we have to do. Have you given up your freedom? Have you become a slave to someone else’s vision? Have you abandon your dreams? What are your dreams? The dreams you haven’t dared pull out since you were a child…
Freedom is our divine birthright.
Release yourself from the shackles of conventional living.
Do what you love and create work that supports your ideal lifestyle.
Define your own version of freedom and live it fully.
My definition of freedom is my ability to be myself, to be madly in love with myself, and to be able to go wherever I want, whenever I want.
Your definition of freedom is completely up to you.
Use your imagination.
Create a vision board.
Speak it into being.
Write it down.
Draw it out.
Your identity is not fixed.
You can be anything you want.
You can be anything you decide.
You can be anything you choose.
You are whatever you say you are.
Start speaking highly to yourself.
Do this regularly, and you will start to believe it.
We become what we believe we are.
Don’t get frozen by your fear.
Feel the fear and do it anyway.
Use the fear to fuel your fire.
Commit to your dream.
Believe in yourself.
Create a new way.
Forge a new path.
